Supreme Court directed West Bengal government on Wednesday to not come the lands to the farmers until any orders from the Calcutta High Court. Tata Motors' lawyer Mukul Rohatgi said, "They cannot transfer the land until the ultimate orders from High Court." Tata Motors on Tuesday had approached the Supreme Court difficult the Calcutta High Court order refusing its plea to restrain West Bengal government from distributing land to farmers in Singur.
